Trading Ninja: a VR trading game with QR lead capture
Delivered for KAMA Capital
A VR slicing game for a trading firm’s stand where the score is a live candle chart: slice gold, Bitcoin and oil and the price climbs; hit a bad trade and it prints red. Players registered by QR code, so the stand left with a lead list.
Players slice what a trader actually watches — gold bars, Bitcoin, oil barrels — and avoid the hits that cost them, like a Margin Call bomb. The score is not a number in a corner: it drives a candle chart in front of the player. Good slices print green candles, mistakes print red ones. A crowd reads a red spike from across the hall without knowing the rules, and the client’s own subject becomes the game.
It was built to run a stand, not a demo. Visitors register by scanning a QR code and entering their name, phone number and email. The queue shows on the spectator screen, the host can skip or recall a player from a keyboard, and timed rounds end on a score that maps onto the reward tiers printed on the stand. After the event the client received the registrations as lead data.
What we built
- Game design around the client’s subject: trading assets as targets, a live candle chart as the score
- PC VR development, with a spectator feed for the stand screen
- QR registration and lead capture (name, phone number, email), handed to the client after the event
- Queue management and host controls for a busy floor
- Score thresholds matched to the stand’s reward tiers
